Photography - for Amateurs Most of us look down on a layout, and thus many photos are take from a raised angle.

For a better perspective, lower yourself to the same height, or if possible, slightly below the model. This provides the same perspective of looking at the real thing, and the photo looks more realistic.

Track Cleaning Don't use abrasives such as sandpaper or steel wool to clean a track. Rather use a cleaning agent such as Goo-gone and a soft cloth, or purpose made track rubbers.
Keeping it clean Spilt glue or paint is just as bad as spilt milk! Cut holes in an ordinary bathroom sponge to hold those small pots of paint and glue bottles, the sponge stops them from getting knocked over. You can wipe your brush on the sponge too.
