One of the drawbacks of public
exhibitions is that modules are often damaged. Recently the Guild decided
to rebuild the club corners, while at the same time incorporating lessons
learnt with the construction of the old corners. Some changes incorporated
were:
 | Better wiring, with enhanced accessibility for DCC controllers. |
 | Flatter scenery. |
 | Smaller corners for better transportability. |
| As with any module, a proper built, solid frame is
essential for a good en result. Proper, solid, simple wiring is also
an advantage. Thanks Neville. |
 |
| Once the module base is complete, track laying
starts... |
 |
| Followed by scenery as per imagination. |
 |
| Building a module is fairly thirsty work. |
 |
| Enhanced access for DCC operations was a prerequisite
for the new corners. Mission accomplished. |
